ESP LTD EC-401FRBLK Electric Guitar, Black

The ESP LTD EC-401FR Electric Guitar features a solid mahogany body with a 3-piece mahogany neck to deliver warm and resonant tones with complex highs and thick creamy lows. The LTD EC-401 is powered by a pair of EMG 60/81 Humbuckers which produce huge amounts of output and a full, versatile sound. The 24 fret rosewood fingerboard brings a softer sound for a tone with excellent depth. Featuring a Floyd Rose special bridge for pitch bending and dive bombs, the guitar also features a locking nut to keep the string in tune even after excessive whammy bar use. The EC-401 is an incredible guitar that offers an excellent tonality with exquisite style, perfect for any guitarist's collection.

EMG Humbuckers

The ESP LTD Electric Guitar features an EMG 60 and EMG 81 humbucker to offer versatile tones. The EMG 60 Humbucker packs massive amounts of output, excellent for playing distinctive single note solos. This pickup offers a thick, balanced tone with excellent clarity and characteristics with a full treble response and plenty of sustain. The 60 has rich harmonic overtones and produces singing highs, huge lows and giving the mids a boost. The EMG 81 Humbucker has powerful magnets and close aperture coils to deliver a tone designed with detailed intensity. The pickup offers an extreme high end cut with a fluid sustain to slice through the harshest mix.

Mahogany Body and Neck

The LTD EC-401 has mahogany body and neck, coupled with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard and given a black finish to produce a visually stunning guitar. The mahogany gives the guitar a comfortable weight whilst producing warm, mellow tones that feature a soft touch. The guitar's high end becomes appealing and complex, its midrange becomes punchy with presence in the lower mids, and its low end becomes thick and creamy without becoming too tight.

Floyd Rose Special Bridge

Floyd Rose are one of the leading manufacturers of guitar bridges, using top of the range design techniques to craft outstanding quality parts. The Floyd Rose special bridge uses zinc and steel to create a bridge that can adjust string tension in seconds, creating incredible pitch bends and dive bombs. The bridge works in tangent with the locking nut for increase string stability and prevents the strings from de-tune after excessive bending.
